Carroll County Announces Holiday Closures and Activities

From Carroll County Government: Carroll County Government will be closed on Thursday, November 24th and Friday, November 25th for the Thanksgiving Holiday. Normal business hours will resume on Monday, November 28, 2016 at 8:00 AM.

After you've had your fill of turkey and stuffing there are plenty of events happening around Carroll County, MD starting on Friday, November 25th with the Festival of Wreaths at the Carroll Arts Center in Westminster.

• The Annual Holiday Tour of the Carroll County Farm Museum with a visit from Santa
• The Miracle on Main Street holiday event in Downtown Westminster is on Saturday, November 26th

With all the Holiday festivities beginning after Thanksgiving remember to buy local. Buying your Christmas Trees & Greens grown in Carroll County means keeping the money local and helping the environment. Buying from local businesses means the money stays in our community, supporting our farmers. Farms produce green areas that help keep our air clean and buying local means less shipping of trees long distances, which reduces emissions and gas consumption.
