“This is what I've been saying all along. Maryland drivers are awful. Nice to see it recently documented how terrible folks - including I suspect many of you - honestly are on the road. Just do better, for the sake of our kids” -

“Maryland drivers are supposed to follow the "Keep Right" laws … but many do not, and often what ensues is road rage. I've driven in many parts of the US and overseas and this area is without a doubt one of the worst regarding this matter." -

“I live in Baltimore, and they are the worst drivers. They don't use their blinkers. They speed up and block you when you are trying to merge into a single lane. They ride your bumpers and wonder why they hit you when you come to a stop. They have to look at everything on the side of the road. If there is a drop of rain or snow, they drop to 5-10 MPH. They block streets at red lights so you can't turn in or out. They don't thank you when you let them in front of you. I don't get how so many people can be so rude on the road. Common Courtesy goes a long way.” -

“I had a project earlier this year in Mumbai, India. I will never complain about local drivers again.”

“Oh, and all of you stuck in traffic? smile. just give it a try...see how much it improves your mood. or wait until i grin at you like an idiot, and try NOT to smile.”

“I'm not a native Marylander. One thing I observed, looooong before moving to this state, is that turn signals are disabled on Maryland cars as soon as they get the license plate slapped on them.”
