Crash Shuts Down Liberty Road Near Reservoir: SHA

The State Highway Administration issued traffic advisory for area by Carroll-Baltimore county line.

ELDERSBURG, MD – A section of Liberty Road/MD 26 is shut down in the Eldersburg area Friday morning due to a crash.

A two-vehicle crash was reported on Liberty Road at Fallon Drive before 10:45 a.m., according to the Coordinated Highways Action Response Team.

Liberty Road is closed just west of the Liberty Reservoir, the State Highway Administration reported at approximately 11 a.m.

Traffic was not allowed to cross the reservoir, and drivers were being turned around, according to WBAL Radio.
