Eldersburg Under 'Code Orange' Air Quality Alert Issued
State environmental officials gave notice about potentially hazardous conditions.

The Maryland Department of the Environment has issued a “code orange” air quality alert for Thursday, June 11.
A code orange alert means that due to pollution concentrations, air quality may be unhealthy for sensitive groups, such as children, older adults, asthmatics and those with heart problems.
Avoid exercising outside and strenuous activity on Thursday to minimize the impact of unhealthy air, the Maryland Department of the Environment advises.
