Employee Shot Outside Eldersburg Company: Carroll County Sheriff
The shooting appears to have been targeted, according to the Carroll County Sheriff's Office.
ELDERSBURG, MD — An employee at a flooring distribution center in Eldersburg was shot Wednesday morning outside the business, according to authorities. Officials said the victim was flown to shock trauma for treatment.
Deputies were called to the 1400 block of Progress Way for a report of the sound of gunshots at 5:16 a.m. on Wednesday, July 10.
They found a man suffering from gunshot wounds at Daltile, and he was taken to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center, according to the Carroll County Sheriff's Office.

"This shooting does not appear to be random, and there is no indication of any further threat to the community," the sheriff's office said in a statement.
