Fire Extinguisher Burglar Struck Sykesville Middle School: Police

SYKESVILLE, MD — Those arriving at Sykesville Middle School Thursday morning found an unusual scene. Someone had broken in overnight and vandalized the interior of the building with fire extinguishers.

At 2 a.m. on Thursday, police said a man broke into Sykesville Middle School in the 7300 block of Springfield Avenue.

Then he sprayed at least two fire extinguishers in the hallway of school, according to authorities.
