Free Concert - Walt Crider and The Old Time Way

At Springfield Presbyterian Church, we are gearing up for the first concert in our 8th year of our concert series! On Sunday, August 9th we will welcome Walt Crider and The Old Time Way, a 5 piece band playing bluegrass, old time country, and gospel music. They feature sounds of early country music including, Bill Monroe, Flatt and Scruggs, as well as others. We will listen to their concert in the comfort of the church’s air-conditioned sanctuary, a perfect, intimate setting for live music due in part to the great acoustics.

The concert is, as always, free and open to the public. We will take up a free will offering (which goes in its entirety to support this concert series). Following the concert we will have a summer time ice cream social. So come along and bring your friends and neighbors and enjoy some good music, friends and cool refreshing ice cream!
