Free Jazz Concert at Springfield Presbyterian Church

Sunday, June 12th at 3:00 pm the Tim Jenkins Group will perform a jazz concert at SPC. Featuring Tim Jenkins, Jeff Hiner, and Howard Burns

Tim Jenkins Group

Tim Jenkins, playing jazz guitar, Jeff Hiner, on double bass and Howard Burns on saxophone will be performing in the next concert in the Springfield Presbyterian Church concert series. Tim Jenkins' music is heard regularly on WPFW 89.3 and is featured on Artworks on MPT. He is the jazz guitar professor and director of the jazz guitar ensemble at McDaniel College. Jiff Hiner plays the double bass, electric bass and tuba. He's performed with The Howard Burns Quartet, The Nick Reider Quartet and Gringo Jingo. Howard Burns is a saxophonist, composer, arranger and teacher. A native of Baltimore, Howard has been the Jazz Band Director at Frederick Community College for over 25 years.

We invite you to join us for a wonderful, musical afternoon on Sunday, June 12th. No tickets are required. A free-will donation will be collected. There will also be delicious refreshments following the concert. For more information please call Linda Caviglia 410-746-1221.
