Liberty's Marching Band Captures Second Place at Chapters
On the Road this Weekend for the Final Two Performances: The U.S. Naval Academy & Hersheypark

Hollywood is home to “Indiana Jones” and Eldersburg is home to the Lions' Pride Marching Band. Their show, “Amazon: Quest for Gold” earned the Pride 2nd place with the distinction of Best Music. The Group 3/Open Class competition often referred to as “Chapters” was held Saturday, October 21st at Spring Mills High School in West Virginia.
The Tournament of Bands is the sanctioning organization and judges the Chapter V Regional Bands on a 100-point scale. The Lions' Pride earned a 94.55, and is currently ranked 4th place going into Sunday's (October 29th) final competition. Though before they head up to Pennsylvania for the TOB Championship, the Pride will be stepping off for the first time this season with U.S. Bands during the Marine Corps Invitational.
