Michael Brian Pangborn, 26 of Eldersburg died suddenly on Wednesday, Dec. 10, 2014 from injuries resulting from a vehicular collision in Gambur, Maryland.
Pangborn was driving southbound on Route 32 at 1 p.m. on Wednesday when he hit an unoccupied fuel truck parked near the intersection of Hammer Stone Drive, the Carroll County Times reported. According to a news release from Maryland State Police, Pangborn was declared dead at the scene and investigation into the crash is ongoing.
Born September 18, 1988 in Baltimore, Pangborn was the son of Rebecca Jane Bohon. He served in the U.S. Army and was also a car enthusiast.

Surviving in addition to his mother are brothers Rob and Tyler Pangborn, aunt Margaret Bohon and husband Bob Clark, aunt Mary Bohon, uncle Dan Bicking, cousins John and Kelsey Bicking, Susan and Bobby Clark, and Ryan and his wife Lisa Bicking and their daughter Anna.
The family received friends and held a memorial service on Sunday, Dec. 14, at the Burrier-Queen Funeral Home and Crematory, P.A. in Winfield, MD.
