PNC Bank Robbed in Sykesville, Suspects at Large: Police
Maryland State Police said two men were involved in bank robbery on Liberty Road.
Authorities are investigating a recent bank robbery in Sykesville, according to Maryland State Police.
The two suspects in the PNC Bank robbery were at large Friday, authorities reported.
Police said one man went into the bank in the 1300 block of Liberty Road Thursday morning, looked around and left without conducting any business.

Five minutes later, another man entered, handed the teller a note and demanded money, according to police.
The teller handed over the cash in her tray, then the suspects left, police reported. Nobody was injured in the robbery, and no weapons were seen, police reported.

Before 11 a.m. Thursday, troopers responded to the area for a report that the PNC Bank had been robbed, according to police.
Deputies and troopers established a perimeter and determined the suspects had left the area.
A witness reportedly saw the suspect vehicle—a maroon or dark-colored SUV/crossover-type vehicle, similar to a Lexus or Mazda SUV—which headed west on MD 26 then north on MD 32, according to police.
The vehicle turned around in the area of Johnsville Road and took a route other than MD 32, according to police.
Maryland State Police and the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office continue searching for the suspects and their vehicle, police said Friday.
