Road Alert: Construction to Begin on Snowdens Creek Road
Carroll County announces that the construction is scheduled to begin the week of July 31 in Eldersburg.
From Carroll County: The Carroll County Bureau of Utilities has contracted DSM, Inc. for a sewer rehabilitation project on Snowdens Creek Road. The planned capital improvement project includes replacing failing sewer pipes and reconditioning manholes.
Construction is scheduled to begin the week of July 31, 2017 and will take place daily Monday through Friday between 8 am and 4 pm.
Project completion is expected within three weeks from commencement of construction. Due to the location of the sewer in some locations of Snowdens Creek Road and the narrow width of the paving, access to traffic will be very limited between 8 am and 4 pm. Preparations will be in place to allow resident and emergency vehicle passage on a limited as needed basis.
