Sykesville Trailer Blaze Caused $1,800 in Damage: Fire Marshal
Officials said a utility trailer burst into flames on Tuesday afternoon in Carroll County.

SYKESVILLE, MD — After a trailer caught fire in Carroll County Tuesday afternoon, the Office of the State Fire Marshal is investigating the cause.
At approximately 4:45 p.m., a passerby reported that the 2010 utility trailer was ablaze in the 5600 block of Hodges Road, according to the fire marshal.
Four firefighters from the Sykesville Volunteer Fire Department responded and brought the situation under control within 10 minutes, officials said. Nobody was injured.

Investigation revealed that the fire began inside the trailer, according to the fire marshal.
There was $1,800 in damage — $800 in structural damage and $1,000 in items that were inside the trailer were lost as well.
