Thin Mints, Caramel Delites and Shortbreads: It's Girl Scout Cookie Time in Central Maryland
Girl Scouts will blanket the town in the coming weeks, making sure you don't miss your favorite box of cookies.

Girl Scouts will be at stores throughout Eldersburg in the coming weeks, tempting shoppers with traditional cookie favorites as well as several flavors.
Girl Scout cookie booths officially started selling cookies Friday and will continue to operate booths into December. Click here to find local cookie booths. For cookie lovers with smart phones you can also download the free Cookie Locator app.

There are a few changes to the Girl Scout Cookie line-up in central Maryland this year, according to a Girl Scouts news release. In most cases the cookie remains the same, some just have new names.
Thin Mints are still Thin Mints but Samoas are called Caramel Delites, Do-si-dos are Peanut Butter Sandwiches, Trefoils are Shortbreads, Tagalongs are Peanut Butter Patties and the Thanks a-lot cookie is back on the menu. In addition, there are a few new cookies to enjoy—Lemonades, a shortbread cookie with a delicious thin layer of lemon icing, Cranberry Citrus Crisps and coming in late December—a gluten-free Chocolate Chip Shortbread cookie.
Have diet restrictions? As in the past, Thin Mints and the Peanut Butter Patties are vegan friendly, as are the Thanks-a-Lot and Lemonade cookies.
