Ben & Jerry’s is offering free ice cream cones.

According to the Ben & Jerry’s website, “Free Cone Day” is something the company has been doing since 1979, the first year of business.

Although there are no Ben & Jerry’s ice cream shops in Eldersburg, there are four participating locations in Maryland, including in Frederick, located at 30 South Market St., South Market Center.
