$1M Powerball Ticket Sold at Elkridge Giant: MD Lottery
Did you buy a Powerball ticket at the Giant on Marshalee Drive?

ELKRIDGE, MD - The Giant in Elkridge sold a $1 million Powerball ticket in Wednesday night’s drawing, according to Maryland Lottery officials.
The ticket has the following winning numbers: 7, 10, 16, 46 and 56.
Lottery officials advise the winner to sign the back of the ticket and put it in a safe place. The winner has 182 days to claim a prize at the Maryland Lottery Customer Resource Center at 1800 Washington Boulevard in Baltimore.

For selling Wednesday night’s winning ticket, the Giant at 6020 Marshalee Drive in Elkridge will receive a $2,500 bonus from the Maryland Lottery.
This is the second time an Elkridge business has sold a $1 million Powerball ticket this year; in March, a Texas man who purchased a ticket at the 7-Eleven on Old Waterloo Road won big as well.

So far, six stores in Maryland have sold $1 million Powerball tickets in 2015, according to the Maryland Lottery, which reports stores in Bowie, Essex, Elkridge, Columbia and Oakland have sold winners.

Since nobody has hit the jackpot (all five balls plus the red Powerball number) on Wednesday, the estimated jackpot for the next drawing on Dec. 12 is $164 million, according to the Maryland Lottery.
Powerball drawings occur at 11:22 p.m. Wednesdays and Saturdays on WBAL, and winning numbers are also available for viewing online. Tickets are $2.
