3 Men Killed In Car Crash Near Elkridge: Police Report
The single-vehicle crash occurred in the center median on Interstate 95 North, south of Maryland Route 100 in Elkridge.
HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Three people died in a single-vehicle crash Thursday afternoon in Howard County when a 2005 Mazda 3 began driving aggressively before it overturned in the center median adjacent to the left lane of I-95 North. The vehicle struck multiple trees before coming to a rest, reported the Howard County Police Department.
The incident occurred shortly before 3:25 p.m. and troopers from the Maryland State Police Waterloo Barrack and the Howard County Police Department responded to the 911 call for the single-vehicle crash in the center median on Interstate 95 North, south of Maryland Route 100 in Elkridge.
The driver, Robert William Nagel, 44, and the two passengers, Michael Louis Labonte Jr, 33, and Eric Severin, 43, all of Laurel, were declared dead at the scene by Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services personnel. The victims were transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore for autopsies, according to a police report.
