Adolescent Mental Health Program Tomorrow

The Ellicott Mills Middle School staff and PTA are sponsoring “Supporting Healthy Minds & Healthy Youth: An update on Adolescent Mental Health Data & Community Resources” on Thursday, March 23, from 6:30-7:30 p.m., in the school cafeteria.

The program will include guest speakers Cathy Smith, Grassroots Outreach Education Coordinator; Seth Knobel, Director of Grassroots Crisis Services; and Colleen Nester, Social Work Supervisor, Howard County Health Department.

Recent surveys indicate that 1 in 9 youth in Howard County are diagnosed with either depression or anxiety.

The public is invited to attend. Childcare will be available. Light refreshments will be served.
