Alzheimer's Association Holds Support Group for Caregivers

Free program held monthly at Residences at Vantage Point

The Alzheimer’s Association is offering a Support Group for Dementia Caregivers at Residences at Vantage Point on the fourth Wednesday of the month, from 4-5 p.m., in the Columbia Room.

The group provides a safe and confidential environment for conversation, support, resources and education. Caregivers of those with Alzheimer’s disease or other dementia-related disorders are invited to attend. Attendance is free.

Residences at Vantage Point was founded in 1990 and is a nonprofit serving people age 60 and above. Managed by Life Care Services, the community includes a variety of residential living apartments, an array of on-site services and amenities as well as providing on-site long-term
health services including Monterey Place, a new specialized memory care assisted living neighborhood, assisted living and comprehensive nursing center exclusively for residents should they need them.
