ClearShark Employees Adopt Military Families for Holidays

The Soldier's Angels Adopt-A-Family program provides gifts and a holiday meal for military families in Maryland.

ClearShark, an IT sales company based in Hanover, helped make the holiday season a little less stressful for military families by participating in the Soldiers’ Angels Adopt-A-Family program.

The program gave the families the kind of Christmas or other holiday celebration that they deserve, the company said in a news release. Volunteers learned about the families, purchased gifts for the children, and provided them with a holiday meal.

ClearShark sponsored 37 families this year, purchasing gifts for 109 children and their parents and providing each family with a holiday meal. Twenty-seven of these families were in DC/Maryland/Virginia. Twenty-five ClearShark employees and management volunteered to shop for these families, coordinate a holiday meal, wrap presents, and deliver the gifts.
