ELKRIDGE, MD – Due to heating issues, one elementary school in Howard County will be closed on Tuesday, March 6. The announcement came Monday evening from Howard County Public School System (HCPSS) officials.
Deep Run Elementary School will be closed as a result of HVAC problems on Tuesday, March 6, officials reported.
Temperatures are expected to be cool.

The National Weather Service forecast shows a high of 43 degrees and a low of 35 degrees Tuesday in Howard County.
Both school and community-sponsored events that were planned at Deep Run will be canceled on Tuesday, according to the announcement.
