Elkridge High School Girl will Compete in National Rodeo
The 'National High School Rodeo' which will be held July 12-20 in Wyoming.

Elkridge’s Geegee Lowe, 15, a rising junior at Howard High, has qualified for the National High School Rodeo, which will be held July 12-20 in Wyoming. One of the largest rodeo’s in the world, high school students from 42 states, Canada, and Australia will compete in the event. Geegee will compete in Barrels, Poles, Goat Tying, and Break Away Roping. She was Reserve Champion this year in the Finals in Tackahoe, MD.
A 3rd generation in rodeo competions, Geegee’s uncle and great-uncles also competed in rodeos. Geegee said she started out riding horses with her mother at 18 months old and then began riding by herself at 25 months. The family has a farm in Elkridge, where she rides her horse “Little Bee.”
