Elkridge Man, 72, Identified As Pedestrian Struck By Car: Police
Howard County police officers have identified 72-year-old Jackie Leroy Brown as the victim in a pedestrian-car incident Nov. 27 in Elkridge.
ELKRIDGE, MD — A 72-year-old Elkridge man has been identified as the pedestrian killed Nov. 27 after being struck by a 2004 Toyota Sienna. The incident occurred at approximately 5:46 p.m. when Jackie Leroy Brown was present in the roadway of Washington Boulevard just south of Montgomery Road.
The vehicle driven by Anthony Wayne Hammond, 49, also of Elkridge, struck Brown while he was in the road. Howard County officers continue to investigate the incident and charges have not been filed at this time.
