HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Authorities said that a woman who disappeared from the Elkridge area has been found. The Howard County Police Department reported she had been located about an hour after officials asked the public for assistance.
Thelma Lee Carter, 75, was last seen leaving a residence in the 6500 block of Elderberry Court around 2 p.m. on Tuesday, April 30, officials said.
While she often takes the bus to the Howard County Public Library branches in Elkridge and Columbia, officials said that relatives became worried when she did not return home before dark, so they contacted police. Authorities said they were concerned due to age-related health issues.
