Fire At Old Waterloo Apartment Caused By Cooking: Officials
Firefighters were called to Sherwood Crossing on Sunday afternoon, Howard County fire and rescue personnel said.

ELKRIDGE, MD — Smoke in an apartment drew firefighters to Old Waterloo Road Sunday, the Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services reported. There was burned food at the location, officials said.
A 911 caller reported smoke in an apartment in the 6800 block of Old Waterloo Road, fire officials said in a statement before 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 6.
When crews arrived at Sherwood Crossing, fire officials said they determined food had been burned in an adjacent apartment.
