Howard County Government: Police Investigating Fatal Shooting Wednesday In Columbia

The adult female victim was found suffering from a gunshot wound and pronounced dead at the hospital. 

Howard County police are investigating a fatal shooting Wednesday, June 23, in Columbia. 

At approximately 9:18 p.m., police responded to a parking garage in the 10200 block of Wincopin Circle for a report of an adult female unresponsive in a vehicle. The victim, Victoria Ann Santiago, 47, of Windsor Mill, was suffering from a gunshot wound and transported to Howard County General Hospital where she was pronounced dead. 

Police do not believe the shooting was random. The motive is under investigation and there is no suspect information available for release. Anyone with information is asked to contact police at 410-313-STOP or HCPDCrimeTips@howardcountymd.gov.
