Howard County Public Schools Delay Opening
Roads may be icy Monday morning, according to National Weather Service.
Public schools in Howard County will open two hours late on Monday, Feb. 2, the school system announced Monday morning.

All morning child care programs sponsored by the Columbia Association and the Howard County Department of Recreation and Parks in Howard County public schools will be delayed two hours as well.

Howard County is under a winter weather advisory until 8 a.m. due to freezing rain, according to the National Weather Service, with the potential for ice on untreated roads.
