Kitchen Fire In Elkridge Contained By Sprinklers: HoCo Fire

ELKRIDGE, MD — Sprinklers made quick work of a fire in Elkridge Wednesday afternoon, officials said. A kitchen fire drew first responders to the scene.

Firefighters said when they arrived at the home in the 5400 block of Wecker Way, the sprinkler system had activated and contained the fire.

After 2 p.m., crews reported the blaze had been extinguished and was confined to the kitchen area.

Nobody was injured in the kitchen fire, officials said.
