Looking for Host Families for the 2019-20 school year

Does your family play volleyball like Mona from Germany? Do you love dogs like Sonia from Italy? Enjoy the outdoors like Lea from Germany?

ASSE International Student Exchange Programs, in cooperation with your community high school, is looking for local families to host boys and girls between the ages of 15 to 18 from a variety of countries: Norway, Denmark, Spain, Italy and Japan, to name a few. ASSE students are enthusiastic and excited to experience American culture while they practice their English. They also love to share their own culture and language with their host families. Host families welcome these students into their family, not as a guest, but as a family member, giving everyone involved a rich cultural connection and experience. The exchange students have pocket money for personal expenses and full health, accident and liability insurance. ASSE students are selected based on academics and personality, and host families can choose their student from a wide variety of backgrounds, countries and personal interests. (These examples vary from agriculture, cooking, sports, media – the connections are there!)

To become an ASSE Host Family please contact Melanie Jackson (Howard County Area Representative) at 410-227-8433 or email her at parris38@hotmail.com or you may contact our Maryland coordinator Elizabeth Milby at 410-935-6964 or email address at elizabeth@asse.com check our website at www.asse.com
