2 At Shock Trauma After Landing Road Crash: HoCo Fire And Rescue

A serious crash in Elkridge on July 4 sent two people to the hospital, according to Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services.

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — Two people were thrown from a vehicle in a serious crash on Landing Road on Thursday, July 4, according to the Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services. The crash occurred on Landing Road near Ellis Lane in Elkridge, officials said, where a helicopter was called before 7:30 p.m. on July 4.

One person was flown in critical condition to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center, according to Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services spokesman Adam Nolder.

The other individual was taken by ambulance to shock trauma with injuries that Nolder described Friday, July 5, as serious but not life-threatening.
