New Fire Station Progresses In Elkridge
The new firehouse on Montgomery Road is slated to open by March 2018.
From Howard County: The new Howard County Department of Fire and Rescue Services Elkridge Fire Station is coming along! This 33,000 square foot building will feature six drive-thru apparatus bays, individual sleeping quarters for 23 people and will be staffed by both career and volunteer personnel. A true collaboration between the County and the community, we expect the new facility to be operational by no later than the end of March, weather permitting.
