New Year's Eve Weather in Maryland: Hour-by-Hour Until the Ball Drops

The temperature will reach the mid-40s on Saturday, but winds will make it feel much cooler right through midnight, according to the National Weather Service.

Winds will gust as high as 24 mph by mid-afternoon Saturday. Otherwise winds will be up to 16 mph under increasing clouds.

After dark, we'll reach a low of 34 degrees, but the temperature will feel like 30 degrees at midnight.

New Year's day is forecasted to be sunny, with a high near 48 degrees and winds becoming calm.

Here's the hour-by-hour "feels like" forecast until the ball drops Saturday night, according to the National Weather Service:

10 a.m.: 28 degrees

11 a.m.: 30 degrees

Noon: 32 degrees

1 p.m.: 36 degrees

2 p.m.: 37 degrees

4 p.m.: 35 degrees

5 p.m.: 34 degrees

7 p.m.: 33 degrees

8 p.m.: 32 degrees

9 p.m.: 30 degrees

10 p.m.: 31 degrees
