Students Hold Challenge to Benefit Grassroots

Long Reach High School and Howard High School raise almost $2,500

The 3rd annual Change Matters Football Challenge between Long Reach High School and Howard High School raised almost $2,500 for Grassroots Crisis Intervention Center during a recent contest on and off the field. National Honor Students from Long Reach High School coordinated the fundraising challenge, the focus of which was to see which school could collect the most money to benefit Grassroots suicide prevention services. Howard High edged Long Reach High, but the real winner was Grassroots. Shown in the photo are Long Reach High School National Honor Society members and Change Matters Football Challenge leaders.
