HOWARD COUNTY, MD — As of Wednesday, Howard County has a total of 19,394 positive new coronavirus cases, according to the Howard County Health Department, and 249 deaths. The state has 460,659 confirmed cases and 9,435 deaths total, reports the Maryland Department of Health.

The following zip codes have the highest confirmed case counts in Howard County as of June 7:

• 21043 - 2,649 confirmed cases
• 21044 - 2,579 confirmed cases
• 21045 - 2,520 confirmed cases
• 20723 - 2,414 confirmed cases
• 21075 - 2,399 confirmed cases

The CDC advises doing the following to stop the spread of the virus:
