Construction Trailer At Church Burglarized: HoCo Police Roundup
The Howard County Police Department reported a carjacking, vehicle theft, theft from vehicles and burglaries.
HOWARD COUNTY, MD β The following incidents occurred across Howard County Sept. 1-4 as reported by the Howard County Police Department.
Carjacking
Ellicott City, 21043: 3400 block of Court House Drive, Sept. 3 8:30 p.m.
An adult male victim reported that he was in his vehicle with an acquaintance when the
acquaintance assaulted him and stole the vehicle. No one was injured. Police located the vehicle in
another jurisdiction. The investigation is ongoing.
Commercial burglary
Laurel, 20723: Hope Baptist Church, 8800 block of Stephens Road, Sept. 2-3 overnight
Unknown suspect(s) entered a construction trailer at the church by cutting the lock. Nothing was
reported stolen.

Dayton, 21036: 4500 block of Ten Oaks Road, Aug.30-Sept. 2
Unknown suspect(s) entered the residence and stole furniture and a home security system.
Columbia, 21044: 5100 block of Columbia Road, Sept. 2 11:29 a.m.
Police responded for a report of a male suspect entering two residences through unlocked doors.
The suspect was located and arrested. Nothing was reported stolen.
ARRESTED: Joshua Adam Haines, 34, of Mountain View Road in Damascus, charged with burglary
