Howard Bank Announces Finalists for its "Keep it Local' Contest
Selected from nearly 200 applicants, 15 finalists enter the next rounds where the public will vote for the winner.

Howard Bank, a locally headquartered community-focused commercial bank serving businesses, professionals and individuals, today unveiled the 15 finalists in its Keep It Local contest. Launched last year to support businesses in and around the Baltimore region, the Keep It Local contest recognizes small businesses for their extraordinary work in the community.
“The selection committee had their work cut out for them; all the nominees were impressive,” said Erica Starr, Director of Marketing for Howard Bank. “These businesses have given so much to their communities before and during this difficult time.”
To be eligible, businesses had to operate within Howard Bank’s branch footprint in Baltimore City or Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Cecil, Harford or Howard counties. Eligible businesses were invited to self-nominate and describe their efforts regarding how they embrace their communities.
