Howard County Chamber of Commerce Event a Big Success

Elected Officials Meet & Greet a great opportunity to learn what our council members are passionate about

(Picasa)

On 8/28/19 I had the pleasure of attending the Howard County Chamber of Commerce Elected Officials Meet & Greet event at La Palapa Grill & Cantina in Historic Ellicott City. This was a terrific event with a packed house. It was a great opportunity to get to know our local County Council members, district reps, and just about everyone who holds an elected office in our area.

Howard County Executive Calvin Ball opened the event and stayed to speak with almost everyone on a personal level.

I learned about how David Yungmann District 5 County Council has been reviewing detailed reports from the schools about the options for adding to or modifying structures on campus as a quality interim solution until new schools are built.

County Councilmember Deb Jung and I had a chance to talk about many local issues and how much Howard County could benefit by more reporting about them.
