Howard County Court Enters $1 Million Award For Local Hair Salon
Attorney Megan O'Connor prevails on behalf of Victoria & Albert Hair Salon against former commercial landlord.

ELLICOTT CITY – On May 1, 2019, Judge Mary Kramer of the Circuit Court for Howard County entered over $1 million judgment in favor of the Victoria & Albert Hair Studio against their former landlord, Donegal Associates. Victoria & Albert was represented by attorney Megan O’Connor, a partner at the law firm of Lewicky, O’Connor, Hunt & Meiser in Fulton, Maryland.
“We are relieved by this verdict, and excited to be able to focus on running our business from our new Clarksville location, providing great service for our clients without so much stress, for the first time since this all began,” said Christie Kaier, one of the owners of Victoria & Albert.
“I believe the court recognized the extraordinary damage caused by this landlord’s attempts to retaliate against my client and convert their property,” said attorney O’Connor. “I am very pleased that the court granted this relief to a wonderful local business.”
