THE HOWARD COUNTY YOUTH HOCKEY CLUB PRESENTS

“THE COOLEST GAME ON EARTH!”

Right here in Howard County resides one of the Country's leading youth hockey clubs! That's right, the Howard Huskies are a true "club" in every sense of the word and produce not only winning hockey teams but also great experiences and opportunities to grow as individuals and team members. We pride ourselves in the quality of the young people who develop in our organization and go on to become pillars of the community.

You can start your player out at a very young age and have them play at which ever level of play you like. If your desire is to have your player be a competitive travel player than we have one of the leading travel programs in the country. Many Huskies have gone on to play at the Junior and/or college level after graduating out of our club. If you prefer a less challenging path then we provide opportunities to play in the "CCHL" which is a "recreational league".

The Howard County Youth Hockey Club prides itself in providing 100% USA Hockey Certified Coaches who go through rigorous training and certification courses provided by USA Hockey as well as complete background checks. The club has an annual banquet where not only are the season's on ice accomplishments recognized but also recognized are those players who exhibit outstanding sportsmanship and leadership. On Sunday September 24th, 2017 the club will host its 6th annual "Hockey Day In Columbia" at The Columbia Ice Rink located on Thunder Hill Rd in Columbia, MD. Come out and see what you can be a part of! Community involvement is another area which is very important to the club and all of its members. The Huskies have assisted numerous organizations and individuals who were in need, through the great sport of hockey. Our players have played key roles in these charitable events.
