Toll House Road Water Main Repair Project to Begin

A construction project in Howard County that will protect the water main system on Toll House Road begins Monday, July 31.

ELLICOTT CITY, MD - From Howard County Government: A Howard County construction project to repair the system protecting the water main along Toll House Road in Ellicott City is scheduled to begin on or about Monday, July 31. Work will include replacing the anodes (devices which prevent the metallic water pipe from deteriorating), the subbase and the pavement along the entire length of the south bound lane of Toll House Road between Frederick Road and Old Columbia Pike. Weather permitting, the project is expected to be completed by late September.

The southbound lane of Toll House Road in the vicinity of the project will be closed during construction.Traffic will follow a clearly marked detour using St. Johns Lane. Additionally, a recorded message at 410-313-3638 will carry project details and updates.
