Who Has Been Vaccinated In Howard County: June 22

HOWARD COUNTY, MD — As of Tuesday, 64.8 percent of Howard County residents have received the first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine, a total of 211,117 people. Fully vaccinated people comprise 63.1 percent of the county's residents, or 205,530 people. Of those individuals who have been vaccinated with at least one dose, 53 percent are women and 47 percent are men. The most vaccinated segment of the county population happens to be those aged 50 to 59.

Howard County opened a mass vaccination site in partnership with the state April 30. The mass vaccination site is located at the Mall in Columbia and operates Wednesday through Sunday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. It will close July 3 as the state shifts its focus away from mass vaccination sites.
You can register for vaccines at this site and a variety of sites by using the state vaccine locator at https://coronavirus.maryland.gov/pages/vaccine#locator. All residents 16 years and older are eligible.
