Baltimore County Commission for Women

District 7 - Eastern Regional Baltimore County

The Baltimore County Commission for Women began in the 1970s, with 21 members. Fourteen ladies are appointed by the County Executive. Seven women represent the seven county districts - one each appointed by the seven county council members. In March 2017, Anna Renault was nominated by County Councilman Todd Crandell of District 7 and confirmed by County Executive Kevin Kamenetz.

District 7 of Baltimore County encompasses Essex, Middle River, Dundalk and some of Rosedale too. Ms. Renault is working to contact the women of the area to discuss topics such as domestic violence, human trafficking, various health issues, the need for legislative issues that impact primarily women along with many other issues - not the least of which is the opioid crisis. It is time to address these issues to make whatever possible positive changes we can make... doing it now.. saving lives... making life in the southeastern Baltimore County area better for all.

Contact Renault through this post or through her email avenewsanna@yahoo.com. Now is the time for women to speak up about issues they see as a problem within the community. Now is the time to get active to see what resources are available to make changes or what resources we need to organize to make things better. NOW IS THE TIME!
