Around 3 a.m. on May 29, 2021 the victim, a 17-year-old male, was in the Home2 Suites in the 4500 block of Painters Mill Rd. when he was shot at least once in the upper body. He was transported to an area hospital and is expected to survive.

Anyone who may have been at the location and has additional information to offer can contact detectives from the Baltimore County Police Violent Crimes Unit by calling 410-307-2020. Callers may remain anonymous and may be eligible for a reward when submitting tips through Metro Crime Stoppers.

Reward Offered

Metro Crime Stoppers of Maryland, an organization that is separate from the Baltimore County Police Department and Baltimore County Government, offers rewards of up to $2,000 for information that leads to the arrest and charges in connection with felony offenses.
