Baltimore County police have placed two men under arrest in connection to a murder that occurred earlier this month at BJ Mallards in Woodlawn.
The shooting claimed the life of 30-year-old Darrin Barnes; it left a second victim seriously injured.

According to charges, on June 14, 2021 the suspects conspired to kill Barnes as a form of retaliation for a dispute that occurred days earlier.
Following an extensive investigation, Baltimore County police arrested two suspects this morning. The men have since been charged and appeared in court.
32-year-old Jamell W. Smith and 40-year-old Michael J. Curry have been charged with first-degree murder in the killing of Darrin Barnes as well as attempted murder. Currently, both men are being held without bond at the Baltimore County Detention Center.
