Just before 11:30 a.m. on June 20, Baltimore County Police responded to Baltimore National Pike and St. Agnes Lane in Wilkens for a multiple vehicle crash.

Police determined as the driver of a 2020 Nissan was traveling eastbound on Baltimore National Pike, the driver of a 2020 Chevrolet Tahoe attempted to make a right turn onto the roadway. In an effort to avoid a collision, the driver of the Nissan swerved and subsequently struck a 2009 Acura which was then pushed into another vehicle, a 2008 Toyota.

Meanwhile, the driver of the Chevrolet Tahoe also swerved to avoid a collision. The vehicle crossed into a traveling lane of traffic and was struck by a 2018 Chevrolet Equinox. The collision caused the Chevrolet Tahoe to spin and ultimately strike the Nissan which came to rest after striking a BGE pole.

Seven motorists were transported to an area hospital with minor to serious non-life threatening injuries.

The Baltimore County Police Crash Investigation Team responded to the scene and is continuing their investigation into the circumstances and contributing factors of this crash.
