Baltimore County Police: Police Investigate Fatal Crash In Parkton Yesterday

62-year-old Jody Lynn Seibert of the 700 block of Shinnicock Road, 21201 died in a fatal crash yesterday.

Just after 5:30 p.m., Seibert’s Ford Bronco was struck by a Chevrolet Silverado in the 20800 block of Old York Rd., 21120.

Prior to the crash occurring, the Chevrolet was attempting to pass traffic traveling eastbound; meanwhile, the Ford drove westbound on Old York Road.

As both vehicles veered off the road to avoid crashing, the Chevrolet struck the Ford, causing it to strike a tree. Seibert sustained serious injuries and died at the scene. The driver of the Chevrolet was transported to a local hospital with serious injuries. 

The Baltimore County Police Crash Investigation Team is continuing their work to determine the factors involved in this fatal crash.
