Baseball: Eastern Tech Falls in Region Semifinals
The Mavericks' season comes to an end following their 5-0 loss to North Harford in the Class 3A North playoffs.

Eastern Tech's season came to an end Wednesday following its 5-0 loss at North Harford in the Class 3A North semifinals.
North Harford scored all of its runs in the first two innings, including a four-run outburst in the bottom of the second inning.
, which also committed five errors, was held to just three hits on the afternoon.The Mavericks hits came from Neil Westdorp, Logan Miller and Shane Mizelle.

Mavericks pitcher Chris Hook allowed five runs (one earned) and eight hits, struck out eight and walked one over six innings. Eastern Tech ends its season with a 15-7 record.
The Mavericks eventually earned the third seed in the Class 3A North after closing the regular season with 11 straight wins. This came after the team opened the 2012 campaign 4-6, which inlcuded losing four straight at one point early in the season.
