Cheers! Liquor Distributor Pours 500 Jobs into White Marsh

Maryland’s largest wine and spirits distributor opened a new facility off White Marsh Boulevard on Thursday.

Reliable Churchill, LLLP, consolidated its warehouse and office into a nearly 450,000-square-foot facility. The new center in the Baltimore Crossroads complex will include approximately 500 jobs, according to a statement from Baltimore County government.

The center is located off MD Route 43/White Marsh Boulevard at Crossroads Circle between White Marsh and Middle River and contains a mix of business and residential spaces.

“Reliable Churchill is a tremendous addition to Baltimore Crossroads’ success as a significant employment center for eastern Baltimore County,” County Executive Kevin Kamenetz said.

Previously, Reliable Churchill and its 500 workers were based in the Curtis Bay area in Anne Arundel County, according to the Baltimore Business Journal, which reported it took five years of searching for the company to settle on its new location.

“It is gratifying to see job growth along the Maryland Route 43 corridor. We welcome Reliable Churchill to our Middle River business community,” Councilwoman Cathy Bevin said.

Chesapeake Real Estate Group built the new 449,200-square-foot facility for Reliable Churchill, which broke ground in December.
