
Bay-Wise Yard Certification: Join the Clear Creeks Project for a Bay-Wise Yard Certification Party at the Baltimore Boating Center on Saturday, October 11 from 10:00 am - 12:00 noon. Come let us help you show your watershed stewardship by certifying your property Bay-Wise with help from the Baltimore County Master Gardeners, who will be on hand to answer gardening questions and assist with Bay-Wise certification applications. Admission is free; refreshments will be served; and you can see Clear Creeks rain garden and rain barrels installed at the Boating Center. Clear Creeks: Our Water, Our Heritage, Our Pride is a community-based, grant-funded initiative that helps answer residents’ desire for improved water clarity in the creeks and rivers of the Middle River and Tidal Gunpowder watersheds. Project funders are National Fish and Wildlife Foundation, Chesapeake Bay Trust, Baltimore County Department of Environmental Protection and Sustainability, Baltimore Gas and Electric, and Gunpowder Valley Conservancy.
