Kathleen Zahradka one of the early big winners at Hollywood Casino Perryville
Essex resident Kathleen Zahradka was a recent jackpot winner at the new Hollywood Casino Perryville, the state's first casino. Zahradka won $4,000 on Nov. 16 playing Video Poker. Hollywood Casino Perryville offers 1,500 slot machines at its location and has quickly turned into a money-maker for the state. In October, the casino generated $11.4 million for Maryland.
